Accessibility statement
GRCorb is partially conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Partially conformant means some parts of the product do not yet fully conform, and the sections below say which.
This statement has not been audited or independently verified. It reflects our own assessment as at August 2026 and is updated when that assessment changes.
What conforms
- Keyboard operability
- Every control that performs an action is a real button or link. Thirty-seven anchors and six divs that responded only to a mouse were replaced in August 2026; an automated check in the test suite fails the build if the pattern returns.
- Skip link and landmarks
- A skip link is the first item in the tab order, and the page carries banner, navigation, main and contentinfo landmarks. The workspace navigation is labelled so it can be told apart from the header menu.
- Visible focus
- A focus indicator is drawn for keyboard users on every interactive element, in two colours so it remains visible on both the light content area and the dark sidebar.
- Reduced motion
- A stated operating-system preference for reduced motion turns off animation and transitions across the product.
- Reflow
- The workspace navigation becomes a horizontal strip below 920px rather than disappearing. Content is usable down to 320px width.
- Text alternatives
- Images carry alt text, and decorative graphics are marked so they are not announced.
- Language and direction
- The page declares its language and text direction, including right-to-left for Arabic.
What does not, or has not been tested
Listed because an unmeasured criterion is not a passing one, and a procurement team is entitled to know the difference.
- No independent audit
- No external accessibility audit or VPAT has been carried out. Everything on this page is our own assessment.
- No end-to-end screen-reader testing
- Individual patterns have been corrected, but complete user journeys have not been walked through with JAWS, NVDA or VoiceOver. Until that is done we cannot claim the announcements are useful, only that the controls are reachable.
- Colour contrast is unverified
- The palette has not been measured against the 4.5:1 (and 3:1 for large text) thresholds. Some muted secondary text is likely to fall short.
- Complex components
- Data tables with sorting, the framework explorer and the product tour have not been assessed against the relevant ARIA authoring patterns.
- Generated documents
- Policy documents exported as DOCX and PDF have not been tested for tagged-PDF accessibility.
Reporting a barrier
If something in GRCorb stops you working, tell your administrator or the vendor contact on your licence. Please say which page, what you were trying to do, and which assistive technology you were using — that is usually enough to reproduce it. We treat an accessibility barrier as a defect, not as an enhancement request.
Assessment method
Self-assessment: manual keyboard walkthroughs of the main workspace screens, plus an automated check that runs on every build (tests/accessibility.test.mjs) covering keyboard-operable controls, text alternatives, landmarks, focus visibility, reduced motion and reflow. Automated checking finds a minority of accessibility problems; it is a floor, not a certificate.
